PANEL: Jennifer Egan, Contemporary Fiction, and the Digital Age
This panel looks to examine the work of NeMLA 2012 Keynote Speaker Jennifer Egan, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and other accolades for ‘A Visit from the Goon Squad,’ in relation to that of other contemporary writers. Of special interest will be papers that explore the work of Egan and others in the context of the Digital Age, the role of experimentation in contemporary fiction, and the interplay of technology and the self in contemporary fiction. Please send 250-500 word abstracts to Stephen Brauer at email@example.com by 9/15/11.
